Caffienaholics Not-So-Anonymous
The 12 Steps
- Step 1 – We admit we are powerless over our addiction – that our lives have become unmanageable
- Step 2 – We believe that a power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity and that it is called Coffee
- Step 3 – We decide to turn our wills and our lives over to the care of Starbucks as our main coffee supplier
- Step 4 – We make Kat search fearlessly across the Santa Clarita Valley for the best deals in office coffee makers, filters, and creamers
- Step 5 – We refuse to admit to Kat, to ourselves and to most people the exact nature of our wrongs
- Step 6 – We are definitely not ready to have God remove all these defects of character
- Step 7 – We should humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings, but have yet to do so
- Step 8 – We daily make a list of all beverages craved and persons with the cravings, and become willing to make Kat get our fix for us
- Step 9 – We make direct purchases to Starbucks wherever possible, except when to do so would be inconvenient or when Kat has nothing better to do
- Step 10 – We continually take personal inventory of our cravings and when we are going through withdrawals we promptly admit it
- Step 11 – We seek through the Internet and field research to improve our snobbish critiques as we understood coffee, praying only for knowledge of coffee’s awesomeness and the power it provides us
- Step 12 – Having absolute addiction as the result of these steps, we carry this message to other addicts, and practice these principles in all our affairs
